TAKE 5 - SALE WINDOWS

Following on from my blog last week I thought I’d delve into the archive and pull out a few images of sale windows. I’ve always believed that just because there’s a sale on standards in display and merchandising shouldn’t slip.

As you will see from the images below this isn’t the case here but I do have one important point to make, there has to the correct balance between looking good and looking exciting enough to tempt customers in to buy.

Personally, I think in a sale window with merchandise this balance comes in the form of a price tag. I know often unsightly looking things but as you can see below these retailers didn’t think they were necessary...
